This article is from the viewpoint of a common man and does not support/criticise anyone. It is just an observation  and shared with the larger group for informational purposes only.  A few weeks back I got a WhatsApp message from an unknown number. It took me a few seconds to realise that the message had come from one of the vegetable vendors I regularly bought from. The message basically said that if I wanted to buy any vegetables, I could simply message and he would deliver. Up until then I had the option to call the vendor, he would note down what I wanted and then deliver. I immediately messaged what I needed and a few hours later, the vegetables were delivered. We have continued with this arrangement over the last one month. Covid-19 pushed this vegetable vendor into the next level of customer service. It looks like it might escape the worst of the pandemic, but will have to be cautious about it. 2. Possibility of W Curve – i.e. There is a good chance of re-occurrence of the virus, which could see a possibility of regular lockdowns. Businesses need to plan accordingly. 3. Capital will look for countries that are less battered. Western economies are badly battered while countries like India, Indonesia, etc are not so battered. Global Capital could flow into India, if we can act efficiently to pull it. 4. Emotional and Economic backlash against China is expected. Already, countries and companies are working on strategy to pivot away from China as part of their supply chains. Japan Govt has announced packages for it’s companies bringing back manufacturing home...
